This favorite mistake didn’t make the list because of its taste but because of the lessons learned.



Making anything from a recipe is only hard when you:

  • don’t read the recipe’s ingredients carefully;
  • don’t handwrite or type each ingredient onto a special grocery list just for your drinks to cement each component to memory;
  • go grocery shopping in a rush and simply glance at your list once or twice because you’ve convinced yourself you’d developed a photographic memory shortly before entering the store; and
  • decide you don’t need the recipe’s specific salt listed because “damn that’s high” so a pinch from your $0.99, 26oz container of iodized salt will be a rebellious mixology mic drop.

Reading is friggin’ fundamental. That’s right, R.I.F.F..
